• During university, performed in restaurants and live gigs, and the various music styles in music school nurtured her creative style and unique voice.
Bell Foo officially stepped into the music industry in 2012 with the song “Take Me Away” (theme song of the movie Paper Moon).
Her songs “Take Me Away” and “Two is Sweet” won her multiple awards for song, newcomer, and female singer at various music award ceremonies:
• 2013 Malaysia MY ASTRO Supreme Chart Awards – Supreme Creative Female Singer, Supreme Movie Song, and Supreme Hit Song;
• 2013 AIM Chinese Music Awards – Best Newcomer (Gold) and Best Music Video Award
• 2014 Represented Malaysia at the 2014 Hong Kong Asian Pop Music Festival and won the Best Performance Award among representatives from 7 countries.
• 2015 Malaysia PWH Music Awards – Newcomer Recommendation Award (Gold) and Best Original Song Award (Local Category)
In 2012, she released her debut solo album December 21, Sunny, where she took full responsibility for singing, production, songwriting, vocal arrangement, and harmonies, and also participated in song selection, arrangement, and piano performance.
Aside from the album achieving promising results, within four months of its release, she successfully held her first solo concert, which was sold out.
Bell Foo also participated in composing the soundtracks for multiple films, including Paper Moon, ATM, Kung Fu Hip-Hop, and the award-winning film I Come From New York.
