Eddie Chow 赵文俊

Documentary Director

Born on November 19, 1991, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, he graduated from Dongguk University, one of South Korea’s top film schools. He is currently active in the film and television industry in Mainland China, South Korea, and Malaysia. In 2015, he began his acting career in China and has since starred in numerous film and television dramas. His notable works include “刺局” directed by Li Rengang, “失眠” directed by Qiu Litao, “杀欲都市” directed by Huang Jianbo, “我们的战争” directed by Zhang Li, “球王” directed by Zhu Yiming, “在悠长的时光里等你” directed by He Zhenyu, “我的隐形男友” directed by Zhang Guoqing, “小满” directed by Yan Guangxing, “胡杨的夏天” directed by Zhu Shimao, “夜间途人” directed by Li Peifeng, the Malaysian Chinese film “出走的时光,” and the action film “捕狼,” among others.

In June 2020, he directed his first public service short film “YUAN” in response to the pandemic, paying tribute to the unsung heroes fighting in the war against COVID-19. The film has won awards for Outstanding Short Film and Outstanding Actor at various film festivals, including the Mumbai International Short Film Festival (MISFF) and the Asia International Film Festival (AWFF).
