Joey started her career in marketing and branding. She then went on to an advertising agency. After gaining her experience in advertising, her career has evolved into a diverse range of projects, including events, special exhibitions, and museums. She manages clients in Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Thailand, Indonesia, Oman, Bahrain, and Qatar.

Joey leads a team of project managers, designers, and writers, focusing on conceptualizing, content development, design, and interpretations. Her team and strategic partners have successfully completed international events and exhibitions over the years.
