A senior music and film producer in Malaysia, he has been involved in music copyright business, music production and publishing, film production, and artist management for 40 years. He was previously the official representative of the Malaysian Film Bureau (FINAS), coordinating film cooperation and development between Malaysia and China.

In 1996, he established Tin Can Music Ltd., specializing in collecting and promoting original songs by local musicians. Renowned Hong Kong singers such as Jacky Cheung, Andy Lau, Aaron Kwok, Anita Mui, and Sandy Lam have sung songs he promoted.

He is known as the mentor and former manager of Asia’s little diva Shila Amzah, and he played a significant role in recommending Malaysian pop singer Li Peiling to the 2016 season of Sing! China, where she reached the finals at the Beijing Bird’s Nest. Last year, she won the championship at Tencent Stage 2023, gaining immense popularity. He also nurtured the rising Malaysian singer Masya, who received the Most Promising New Artist award at the Asia Music Awards in Shenzhen, China.
